Thirsty for Art

The Corfu branch of the Greek National Gallery in the region of Kato Korakiana was inaugurated in 1993. The branch is housed in two renovated historic buildings, the Castellino and the Castelletto. It hosts a permanent collection showcasing the evolution of modern Greek painting from the early post-Byzantine years to the contemporary creations of the past decade. In addition, the branch hosts an array of temporary exhibits and events, while it also offers daily educational programs for students of all levels.
